The deal, in plain words
This is the agreement between you and MiniBilly. It is written the same way as the privacy policy — plainly, and honest about the parts that are awkward. Using MiniBilly means you accept it.
Last updated 9 October 2026. MiniBilly is pre-incorporation and currently run by Billy Mycroft-Edwards as an individual, in the United Kingdom. Contact billy@minibilly.ai.
What MiniBilly is
A personal assistant that reads what you give it access to — your notes, your calendar, your email, your meetings — and helps you keep track of your work. It can draft things, suggest things and remember things.
It proposes; you decide. MiniBilly does not send email, create calendar events, make tickets or change anything outside itself unless you approve that specific action first. If you approve something, that is your decision and your responsibility — the same as if you had clicked send yourself.
It will sometimes be wrong
MiniBilly is built on large language models. They misread things, invent details, and state wrong answers confidently. This is a property of the technology, not a bug we are about to fix.
So: check anything that matters before you act on it. Do not rely on MiniBilly for legal, financial, medical or tax decisions. If it summarises a meeting, the summary may be wrong. If it says someone is waiting on a reply, it may be mistaken. If it drafts an email, read it before you approve it.
We are not liable for what happens if you act on something MiniBilly got wrong. That is the honest position, and it is why every action that leaves your machine needs your tap.
Your account
You need an account. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
You must be 16 or over. One account is for one person — MiniBilly is built around knowing one person well, so sharing an account defeats the point as well as breaching this agreement.
What it costs
MiniBilly is in private beta and free for the first three months. No card, and you cancel by ignoring it.
After that, the prices on the home page apply: £10 a month for the first fifty beta members, locked for as long as you keep the subscription, and £20 a month afterwards. Prices include VAT where it applies. We will tell you before you are charged anything, and before any price change.
You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel a new subscription; nothing here removes that.
Connecting your other accounts
If you connect Google, Slack, Discord, Shortcut or anything else, you are telling us you have the right to do so — that it is your account, or that you are allowed to use it this way.
Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. If one of them changes, breaks or cuts us off, parts of MiniBilly will stop working. We will say so when it happens.
What you must not do
Reasonable things, briefly:
- Break the law with it, or use it to harm, harass or deceive anyone.
- Connect an account you do not have the right to connect.
- Use it to send bulk unsolicited email.
- Try to get at other people’s data, or at the underlying systems, beyond what the product offers you.
- Resell it, or run it as a service for other people, without asking.
If you do any of that we may suspend or close your account. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you first.
Your content stays yours
Everything you put into MiniBilly — your notes, your todos, your transcripts, your conversations — remains yours. You give us permission to store and process it only so far as is needed to run the product for you, including sending it to the services listed in the privacy policy.
We do not use your content to train models, we do not sell it, and we do not look at it except where you ask for help with a specific problem or the law requires it.
Availability
MiniBilly is early software run by one person. It will have outages, and features will change or be removed. There is no uptime guarantee and no service credit.
If the product is shut down, you will get reasonable notice and a way to export your data before it goes.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Subject to that: MiniBilly is provided as it is, without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for loss of data beyond what we can restore. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to what you have paid in the twelve months before the claim — which, while the product is free, is nothing.
That last line is blunt rather than hidden on purpose. Early software run by one person cannot carry commercial risk, and pretending otherwise in smaller type would be worse.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. It removes everything attached to it, and it is genuinely gone.
We may close an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop running MiniBilly. If we close yours for anything other than a serious breach, we will refund the unused part of anything you have paid.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that affects you, the date at the top changes and anyone with an account is told by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use MiniBilly after that means you accept the new version; if you do not, delete your account and we will refund anything unused.
The legal bits
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protections of your own country’s law and can bring proceedings there.
If any part of this is unenforceable, the rest still stands. This is the whole agreement between us about MiniBilly.
